Flutes The Metaphoric Tools Website is now going through a transition so certain elements are changing. The Flutes are still being made but mostly for order. For most up to date news in this time please visit: Metaphoric Tools Flutes are individually, hand crafted instruments made with great attention to details. The flutes available are tuned in the natural scale with "A" equals 432hz, to give the instruments a truly harmonizing quality. Flutes made in our workshop are of 3 types: Native American Style "Love Flutes", Anasazi flutes and Overtone flutes. You can find more information on specific flutes in Metaphoric Tools section. Love Flutes Are the instruments used by many native tribes of turtle island (north America) especially by the groups form the grate prairies. It sound has a slightly melancholic quality but its depth touch the very essence within the hart. Though called a Flute it is recorder type of wind instrument. 
I Sunrise Flutes Higher pitched flutes that have this quality of awakening bringing back the awareness, also they are relatively louder then lower tones thus wonderful for playing outdoors.

III Deep Forest Flutes These are Lower pitched flutes, bigger in size. They have a very deep beautiful sound. The flutes of the lowest tones require some training of fingers the distances between holes are slightly bigger and are more sensitive to the breath pressure applied.

IV Riders of the wind Flutes Here are "Love Flutes" that are of special range and have been given even more time and attention in the process of adornment. (Available soon or on special order) V Divine Resonance (drone flutes) We present the double flutes of the Love flute style. These flutes can be used as a single basic flute or using both parts as drone. The other part of the flute is like another instrument but without tone hols it play the basic tone note (the key in which the flute is tuned) and when combined a very interesting resonance emerges giving wonderful base sound on which one can build melodies as if two flutists where playing.
