This is a traditional style shamanic drum - the hide stretched with polypropylene or hemp rope, Deer/Goat hide on wooden rim. Each drum comes with a wooden beater finished with hand felt wool. These drums are lighter and simpler with beautiful deep sound. Because of the way they are constructed there is little possibility of tuning then, however the tension of the hide is much stronger so it is unlikely for them to go flat.
